Wow. It's 2026. Hard to believe. I read earlier that we're now closer to the year 2050 than we are to the year 2000. That certainly makes me feel some kind of way. To distract from those unpleasant feelings, I figured I would reflect on 2025 a bit and look ahead to 2026 since I've got a few things going on.
The most obvious thing about 2025 for me is the fact that I spent far less days away from home than I have in a while. I played a select few shows, but I gotta say, I enjoyed the process a lot more. I just got picky about the shows I play. I set some new standards and guidelines. I have the pleasure of working with a couple amazing promoters who put on really cool shows and are very gracious to me 100% of the time. The reality of my life has found me working a full-time job in addition to my musical endeavors for the first time really ever. I love my job and feel like I'm making a difference in the world. I have accepted alot of things over the last year. I'm very happy and at peace with my place in the world. Part of that is playing less shows. With that said, I don't plan on stopping. I've got a couple shows in January that I'm really pumped about. Click the events tab for more details. I'm looking forward to 2026. I've got some crazy ideas about my next recording project kicking around in my head. Maybe the most exciting thing on the horizon in the new year (at least for me personally) is I have ordered some new merch! My friend Charli from the band Grave Girls did me some cool designs and the always amazing Jason Vapor is printing me up new hats, t-shirts, and HOODIES! Since you cared enough to read this, I'd like to give you a sneak peak and show you the designs! Thanks as always for reading! I should write these blog posts more often. I really get a lot out of them! Hope to see ya'll at a show soon!
