"The Curse" Music Video shoot and other things going on!

   On Thursday, my best friend Brian Logan and I shot, edited, and produced a music video for the title track of my upcoming EP, "The Curse," available everywhere April 4, 2025. It was such a cool experience to collaborate with Brian in a way that we've never collaborated before. We've produced countless hours of wrestling video content and podcast/radio content through our various ventures over the years, but this challenged us in a way that was brand new. Things didn't go exactly how we planned, but we worked hard to create a finished product that we're both excited about. You'll be able to see it on February 28! Also on that day, I'm releasing 2 songs of the 5 that will be on the EP, so "The Curse" and "Backache" will be available everywhere that day!
    I'm getting so excited for the release of "The Curse" on April 4 and the release show in Big Stone Gap, VA that night with Strangers When We Meet and Pierceton Hobbs. I think it's going to be a great night. Mykie and Botch Boys Productions have teamed up with the Big Stone Gap Visitor Center to create an amazing venue for bands and artists of all styles and genres (see previous blog post for more on that space and what it means to me)!
    I'm so proud that in a 24-hour span, Brian and I recorded an episode of our weekly baseball podcast, 2 Guys Talking Baseball, an episode of our weekly zany, unhinged radio hour, The Danger Zone, AND finally we created a finished music video from scratch. We shot, edited, and produced the whole thing in one day, while also doing our usual Thursday work. Needless to say, we didn't get a lot of sleep that night, but I think we both needed to get lost in our passions. That's what life is about to me: carving out a place in this world that rejuvenates you and fuels you to keep going, in spite of everything pushing against you. Thanks for reading!
